This shorter stage crosses the Brulhois vineyard and follows a particularly scenic stretch of the canal, continuously shaded by the century-old plane trees the Canal latéral à la Garonne is known for.

The canal then crosses the Tarn on the Cacor canal bridge, one of the longest canal bridges in France, an impressive structure that carries the canal over the river without any change in level.

Arriving in Moissac, a town known for its chasselas table grapes and above all for the Saint-Pierre abbey, whose Romanesque cloister, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is considered one of the masterpieces of French Romanesque sculpture.
