At 2,130 m in the Ubaye, the Pra-Loup bike park offers a network of lift-served trails, from a family-friendly introduction to technical runs that have hosted international championships.
A trail network for every level
The bike park has seven trails spread over more than 500 m of elevation and about 3 km of descent per run, served by the Télémix de la Clappe lift. The family green trail (5.5 km) offers a gentle introduction, before riders move on to more technical runs like Rock & Run or the final sprint of Red Carpet.
A resort well used to international competitions
Pra-Loup has hosted the World Masters mountain biking championships and European downhill championships on several occasions, making it a reference point for enduro and DH riders in the Southern Alps, alongside better-known resorts like Les Deux Alpes or Les Orres.
How to approach the session
A day with a lift pass lets riders string together multiple descents without any climbing effort, progressing from green and blue trails to red runs as confidence builds.
When to go
June to September, the summer opening period for the lifts and the bike park’s trails.
Good to know
The Télémix de la Clappe lift also serves a mountain restaurant, handy for a meal break between descents without heading back down to the valley.
