Frequently asked questions

What is the Moravian Wine Trails network?+

The Moravské vinařské stezky form a marked network of about 1,200 km of cycle routes through the vineyards of South Moravia, one of the Czech Republic's main wine regions — a tourism initiative that makes it much easier to plan routes between wineries and villages.

Why are the Pálava hills distinctive?+

This isolated limestone ridge, listed as a UNESCO biosphere reserve, stands out from the surrounding landscape with its rare Mediterranean flora at this latitude and its steep cliffs overlooking the surrounding vineyards — a geological contrast worth the detour along the way.
